Who EMR-TEK is
EMR-TEK is based in Toronto, Ontario. Its about page names Kris Sweeting as the founder. The company sells red and near-infrared light panels, UV lamps, an LED face mask, blue light blocking glasses in four lens tints, and red and yellow light bulbs. It does not say when it was founded.
What we list
Three EMR-TEK products appear here. The Inferno Pro panel is on our red light therapy page. The NYX glasses are on our blue light glasses page. The Sunset red bulb is on our circadian light bulbs page.
Claims to check
EMR-TEK publishes more raw data than most brands in these categories. Its third-party testing page links a LightLab International irradiance report for an Inferno panel and lens transmission reports for each glasses tint. The bulb page shows a spectrum printout. These are reports the company commissioned or supplied, not independent reviews, and the lens reports do not name a lab on the page itself.
Some marketing lines go further than the data. The FAQ claims 1,400 mW/cm² “at panel face”, which no report on the site shows. The site also prices items as sale prices against a higher regular price, and a banner says a further discount applies at checkout. Our does red light therapy work guide covers what panels can and cannot do.
Warranty and returns
The FAQ lists a 2-year warranty on standard panels and a 1-year warranty on the mask, glasses and bulbs. Returns are accepted for 30 days, but the FAQ says a device that has been powered on is not returnable.
