Who PlatinumLED is

PlatinumLED was founded by Mark Sawyer and Michelle Sawyer and says it has made red and near-infrared lights since 2010. It ships from warehouses in the US and Europe. The BioMax series of panels is its main line.

Claims to check

The homepage says PlatinumLED irradiance is independently verified by a third-party lab and names LightLab in its comparison table. That is better than an in-house number, but irradiance falls quickly with distance and varies by meter, so compare test figures taken the same way. The site also notes that it has not confirmed competitors’ claims, which is fair.

Warranty and returns
