Who Swanwick is
Swanwick was co-founded by James and Tristan Swanwick, Australian brothers who say they started researching blue light after long trouble sleeping. The company dates its launch to November 2015. James is a former ESPN SportsCenter anchor; Tristan, the CEO, is a former journalist.
What they make
The main product is Swannies glasses in Focus (daytime), Relax and Sleep lines, plus fitovers, readers, snap-on and kids’ versions. Swanwick also sells a tri-color bulb and a low-blue night light. We list the Sleep Swannies Classic and Fitover on our blue light glasses page.
Claims to check
Swanwick says the amber Sleep lenses block 99% of blue light that keeps you awake. It also cites at-home results “independently measured by SleepScore Labs”: 73% of users said sleep improved, 24 minutes less time awake and 14% more deep sleep. That was a company-arranged program, not a published, controlled trial, and the page does not link a methods write-up.
The site says Swanwick has been studied by the University of Washington and the University of Indiana but does not link those studies. For peer-reviewed evidence on amber lenses in general, see do blue light glasses work.
Returns
Swanwick lists a 30-day return policy. The homepage does not state a warranty term.
