Tempur-Pedic
Memory foam mattress brand owned by Somnigroup International, which also sells a foam-filled TEMPUR sleep mask.
Who Tempur-Pedic is
Tempur-Pedic is the memory foam brand of Somnigroup International, the Lexington, Kentucky company formerly called Tempur Sealy. The name changed in 2025 after its Mattress Firm acquisition. Tempur-Pedic sells mattresses, bases, pillows, toppers, bedding and a travel collection.
What we list
The TEMPUR-Sleep Mask is on our sleep masks page. It is filled with TEMPUR memory foam that molds to the face to close gaps where light leaks in. Tempur-Pedic says it gives “complete darkness,” but that is a brand claim with no independent light measurement behind it.
What matters for sleep
A mask is one of the simplest ways to get a dark sleep environment when you cannot control the room. In a lab study of 116 young adults, ordinary room light under 200 lux during usual sleep hours suppressed melatonin by more than 50% in most trials. Our guide do blackout curtains help you sleep covers the research and the case for combining a mask with darker windows.
The mattress side of the business is outside the scope of this site. We list Tempur-Pedic only for its mask.
