Good

  • Sewn-in black liner, so blackout does not depend on weave density or fabric colour
  • Lengths from 45 to 108 in, and white comes in 70 in wide panels that overlap well in the middle
  • Two hanging options in one panel, back tabs for pleats or a rod pocket for a gathered look

Not so good

  • About $77 to $90 for a 52 x 84 in pair in most colours; only white is near $50
  • Reviewed.com rated a NICETOWN curtain only average for light blocking
  • Most sizes beyond 52 x 63, 84 and 95 in come in white only

Buy this NICETOWN set for its sizes. Each panel has a sewn-in black liner behind the coloured front, which NICETOWN says blocks 100% of sunlight. A separate liner means the blackout layer does not depend on the weave or colour of the front fabric.

Most colours come 52 in wide in 63, 84 or 95 in lengths, with 108 in in a few colours. White adds 37, 42 and 70 in widths and more lengths, from 45 to 108 in. Wide, long panels close the gaps at the middle and bottom, which is where most light gets in once the fabric is opaque. Use the back tabs for neat pleats, and pair the set with a rod that extends past the frame.

Pricing on NICETOWN’s own store is uneven. A 52 x 84 in pair was $77 to $90 in most colours on October 20, 2026, but white was about $50. That is well above the Sun Zero Oslo budget pick, which is also lined and did well in an independent test.

The evidence on light blocking is mixed. Reviewed.com rated a NICETOWN back-tab and rod-pocket curtain “solidly average” at blocking light, without naming the exact model. That is why this set ranks below the Amazon Basics set, which topped the same test.

NICETOWN says the panels are thermal and soften outside noise. It publishes no measurements for either, and neither affects how dark the room gets.
